Permanent GPS observation system for the improvement of the volcanic Surveillance in the Canary Islands

Nowadays, the active volcanic systems must to be watched by means of geophysical, geochemical and geodesic techniques, so that the early alert system, of future and possible volcanic crisis in the Canary Islands, can be improved.
This project, leaded by Dr. José Fernández from CSIC-UCM, plans to complement the geodesic works that are going to be carried out in the Canary Islands under project ALERTA.
