Development of 100 kW inverters for photovoltaic plants
The Electronics Department collaborates with ITER Foundation in this Project.
The Project is aimed to develop an inverter for its manufacture at ITER and it use in photovoltaic generation plants of up to 100kW.
During 2005, several prototypes have been done so that the initial design has been improved gradually.
The first phase of this project is already finished and has caused the production of a TEIDE100 inverter series, of which 60 units are operating in SOLTEN plants In the second phase it is pretended to improve the electronic in different aspects like communications and self-diagnosis, as well as some parameters and constructive adjustments in the power filter (condensers and inductance bank).
