Diseño y desarrollo de un prototipo de concentrador fotovoltaico
PROFIT (Iniciativa del Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología)
ITER
The goal of this project is to optimize several components and process that have been identified as improvable in previous experiences with big plants of PV concentration, with the aim of achieving its definitive inclusion in the photovoltaic market. The redesign will have significant effects in the system´s cost, now that the improvement of the elements is precisely defined and the expected results are directly appliable to the manufacturing process.
Once the system´s viability has been demonstrated and is available in the market, the goal is to achieve a complete system with a cost of 3.5 € / Wp. As a result of this project the proposed prototype will allow a modularity of 7 kWp (with a nominal injection power in the grip of 5 kW), in order to cover the small scale systems connected to grid market, that can benefit of the established fare for systems with a nominal power less that 5 kWp. The main elements which are target of modifications are: the tracking structure, the concentrator (the use of a new reflecting material), tracking control system and grid connection.
